We’re kicking off ourOpus Across the Plainsadventure with advisorCarlie Kent, taking in the beautiful sunflower fields at Grinter Farms. If you’ve ever stood in the middle of these golden blooms, you know it feels like the whole field is smiling back at you.
Fun little sunflower fact we learned while there:
Most people believe sunflowers follow the sun all day long. And theydo—but only before they bloom! Once those big, bright flowers open up, the stalks become sturdy and woody, and they settle facing east for the rest of the season.
We’re excited to keep exploring, learning, and sharing moments from our travels across the plains.
Follow along with us—we can’t wait to bring you along for the journey!
