Chris was born and raised in St. Louis before moving to Springfield, MO where he attended Drury University. There he earned Bachelor’s degrees in both Management and Marketing, as well as his Master’s in Business Administration. After graduating with his MBA in 2013, Chris joined the Springfield Cardinals as an Account Executive and Manager of Inside Sales. In 2015, he moved back to his alma mater working in the alumni office as a Development Officer. Then, in 2018, Chris began his career as a financial professional to families and businesses. He spent five years learning and developing his skills that he now brings to our team today. Chris joined us at The Opus Group in 2023 as the Director of Insurance and is valuable addition to your team!
Chris moved to the Kansas City area from Springfield in 2022 with his family. He has been married to his wife, Karli, since 2014. Chris and Karli have two sons, Grayson and Wallace. They live in Parkville, MO. Chris and his family try to live their lives by balancing their 4Fs. Faith. Family. Fitness. Finances. Chris believes that with a thoughtful, but not equal, balance of these four phases of life, he and his family will be healthy and happier. In their free time, Chris and Karli enjoy getting away on small weekend trips with the kids to places, like St. Louis, Springfield and Branson. They also are very involved in their children’s lives. Grayson is always wanting to play any and all sports. He is an avid football player, where Chris helps coach. He also enjoys his time on this basketball and baseball teams. Wally on the other hand is quite the artist and enjoys drawing and painting with Karli. They all enjoy going to sporting events, movies, swimming, and of course family walks with the dogs, Zoey and Roland.
