Joel was born and raised in a small farming community in Overton, Nebraska. Joel grew up on a farm and ranch with an older brother and sister that give him all the fun chores, which has helped his work ethic grow! He attended the University of Nebraska - Kearney where he majored in Industrial Distribution. Following graduation, Joel accepted a position at Rensenhouse Electric Supply in Kansas City selling electrical automation equipment. After working in the industry for a few years, it was time for a change. Joels love for communicating with people, helping people, and working with finances led him to pursue a career field that better matched his interests.
Joel started in the Financial Industry in October 2021. He worked at another firm for two and a half years, where he developed the skills to help clients understand the value of financial strategies and pursue a fruitful retirement. Through his work, Joel has helped many families with their financial journey and is dedicated to helping many more.
Joel and his college sweetheart, Bailee, got married in June of 2022 and now reside in Overland Park, Kansas. Bailee is an Occupational Therapist at The University of Kansas Health System. They love spoiling their mini-goldendoodle, Josie, with many dog park dates and lots of pup cups. Joel and Bailee love to stay active – whether they are walking Josie, working out, or playing 18 holes of golf at a local course. You can always find them out exploring all that Overland Park and Kansas City have to offer with a smile on their face!
